Extra Lives, an established live concert experience featuring classic video game music based in L.A. and London, is looking to add 1-2 additional synth players to our roster for paid performances in the UK and EU.

Most engagements pay £200 per musician with travel and accommodations also included. Typical venues include gaming and fandom festivals, anime and comic cons, schools, and other nerdy partners such as barcades.

Auditions will be held on March 18th, 20th and 22nd in London. You'll be asked to prepare and perform three specific pieces with excellent accuracy, sound patching and groove.

Ideally, you...

-dig retro video games and would like to be part of an immersive adventure that touches hearts, nerd and non-nerd alike

-have IEMs and experience playing to click

-can transcribe intricate, often-difficult parts from recordings without charts or help

-respond to all communication promptly and without missing stuff

-have the chops to hang in any musical genre (literally the gamut from hard rock to Basie jazz to Latin grooves

-can create great sounds/patches for each song, and bake in volume and EQ changes
